Peel Board of Education

Are you new to the school system looking for Kindergarten, or new to the Peel board, province or Canada? Use the school locator to determine which school your child should be attending based on your home address. 

Below, you will find options to enrol your child/teen at one of our 259 elementary or secondary schools. There are options for specialized programs, night school, summer school, and continuing and adult education programs.

Kindergarten

Starting school is a big step for your child and your whole family. Learn more about this big step and how to register for Kindergarten. Families with children born in 2019 can now register for kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year. Register your child for Kindergarten now.

Grade 1 to 12 registration

If you are new to Canada, please contact the Welcome Centres to begin your child's registration process.

For other student registrations in grades 1 to 12, complete the Student Registration Form and contact the school ​to complete your registration. Please scan and email the documents required for registration (listed below). ​

Learning pathways and programs
French Immersion and Extended French

The Peel board offers two optional programs for students to pursue learning opportunities in French: French Immersion and Extended French.

International Languages

Through the International Languages Program, students can develop oral communication, reading and writing skills in languages other than English or French.

International Students

The Peel District School Board's Peel Schools for International Students welcomes students from overseas who are studying on VISA.

Elementary Regional Learning Choices Programs

Regional Learning Choices Programs empower students by providing an opportunity to develop and explore skills in a particular area of interest. Entry point is grade 6.

Explore High Skills

Explore High Skills is a program that allows secondary schools with SHSM programs to offer a specialized program choice for grade 9 and 10 students.

Online Learning

Learning online is an option that can suit the varied schedules, interests and strengths of students.

Night School

Night School is a good option for students who need to upgrade courses or who would like to take courses outside of day school.

Secondary Regional Learning Choices Programs

Secondary Regional Learning Choices Programs empower students by providing an opportunity to develop and explore skills in a particular area of interest. Entry point is grade 9.

Summer School

Summer school can be a great option for students who need to upgrade credits or who want to complete additional credits during the summer months.

Adult Credit

You can earn high school credits, improve marks for college and university applications, improve your chances of getting a job and graduate from High School!

Adult ESL

We offer ESL and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) programs for newcomers to Canada whose first language (or mother tongue) is not English.
